I study the Bible academically as a hobby. I am especially interested in the ways eschatology and apocalypticism inform the development of early Christianity. I am also interested in attempts to reconstruct the religion of Israel and Judah as it existed prior to ‘canonical’ Yahwistic monolatry.
Ethics
I refuse to use generative AI in any form. I read my sources directly and I cite them when necessary (though I sometimes share thoughts in a format much less formal). I write all the content of my articles. I occasionally update articles to correct typos, grammatical errors, poor wording, or errant information. I create my own graphics or I modify public domain art. I create and code my website theme.
